Cameraderie Photo & Videography Contest - 2015
Ms. Chanda Kochhar, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank felicitates the 3rd edition winners of the Cameraderie Photo & Videography Contest.
Over the years we have witnessed photography evolving into a fine art with advancements in technology, social media, lifestyle changes and media consumption all contributing to this evolution. And so, the 2015 edition was evolved as well, the contest welcomed all photographers who aim to capture important stories of the world around through an artistic lens.
The contest showcased photographs which stood apart on creativity, communication and ability to move people. The 3rd edition of 'Cameraderie’ ended on a high note, witnessing registrations from 11,430 customers who submitted 19,800 photographs and 171 Videos.
The felicitation ceremony of Cameraderie was held on February 16, 2016 at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The event saw the participation of over 150 guests including the winning Customers, our esteemed Seniors, Jury and Alliance partners.
The wonderful evening had many highlights including a tete-a- tete on photography with our MD & CEO Ms. Chanda Kochhar. She graciously shared her views on photography as a hobby and some of her personal favourite photographs. It was indeed soulful to hear her share insights into her tryst with photography. Many other exciting performances followed through the evening by incredibly talented artists like Mr. Nitish Bharti who introduced the winning categories through a sand act and the El Gamma Penumbra who performed a never seen before shadow act. The evening ended with a melodious jazz performance by Asia Electrik, comprising of Indian classical and fusion musician Niladri, acclaimed percussionist Shivmani and the Godfather of Indian Jazz, Mr. Louis Banks.
The winners took home Photography tour to Bali, Divine Solitaires Diamonds, Acer Aspire R13 Convertible Laptops, Acer Liquid Smartphones, National Geographic Magazine Subscriptions and much more.
Hearty congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to all for an overwhelming participation! Cameraderie has set the standard for photographic excellence; the contest will soon be back with a re-energised format and even more exciting prizes.
