Cameraderie Photography Contest - 2014
Ms. Chanda Kochhar, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank felicitates the 2nd edition winners of the Cameraderie Photography Contest.
Today, advances in technology and changes in lifestyle mean that more and more people are now empowered to capture memorable moments. Photography has evolved into a fine art for all hence 'Cameraderie’ brings together people who have a passion for photography.
After the popularity of the 1st edition, the contest was back again to captivate the imagination of photographers across the country. As part of the six-week contest, the participants worked hard to submit their best photographs in 4 categories: Abstract, Nature, People and Wildlife.
The contest showcased photographs which stood apart on creativity, communication and ability to move people. The 2nd edition of 'Cameraderie’ ended on a high note, witnessing massive participation from 10,685 customers who submitted 16,803 photographs and more than 2.20 lac votes were garnered during the contest period.
An exclusive awards ceremony was organised to felicitate the winners in the presence of Ms. Chanda Kochhar, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank, Jury Panel, Sponsoring Partners and Senior Dignitaries of ICICI Bank. The awards ceremony was truly an extravaganza as it celebrated the romance between photography and music. The breathtaking musical performance enthralled the august gathering through the fusion of melodious compositions with beautiful photography.
The winners took home fabulous prizes like Renault Scala, Australia Holiday Packages, Victorinox Travel Gear, Nokia Lumia Smartphones, National Geographic Magazine Subscriptions, Acer Tablets and much more.
Hearty congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to all for an overwhelming participation! Cameraderie has set the standard for photographic excellence; the contest will soon be back with a re-energised format and even more exciting prizes.
