How do I register a new biller in Internet Banking?

To register a biller, please follow the below steps:

  • Log into your Internet Banking account

  • Under the ‘Payments & Transfer’ drop-down menu, click on ‘Pay Bills’

  • Select bill category and search for biller you wish to register

  • Enter required details, click on the declaration checkbox and click on the ‘Next’/‘Get your bill details’ button. The biller details will be added in ‘Your Registered Billers’/’My Billers’ section on the ‘Pay Bills’ page.

How do I make a payment to a registered biller?

Log into your Internet Banking account. Click on ‘Pay Bills’ in the ‘Payments & Transfer’ drop-down menu. You will be directed to the Bill Payments page. Click on the ‘Pay’ button in either ‘My Billers’/’Your Registered Billers’, ‘Upcoming Bill Payments’/’Upcoming Payments’ or ‘Recently Paid’.Your registered billers with upcoming payments are also displayed under the ‘Upcoming Payments’ section. You can also pay your bills here.

How do I pay bills through ICICI Bank?

Follow these simple steps to pay all your bills like Electricity, Credit Card, Gas, Mobile and more:

  • Log into your Internet Banking account

  • Under the ‘Payments & Transfer’ drop-down menu, click on ‘Pay Bills’

  • Select bill category and search for the biller

  • Enter the required details and select the payment mode

  • Review the details, validate using OTP and complete your payment.

What are the different categories of billers?

There are 21 categories of billers whose bills can be paid using ICICI Bank’s digital channels, as follows: Credit Card (ICICI Bank Credit Cards, Other Banks’ Credit Cards), Electricity, Mobile Postpaid, Prepaid Mobile Recharge, ICICI Bank FASTag, Other FASTag, Gas, Landline/Broadband, Water, Loans, Utility, Education, DTH, Pension/NPS, ESOP, Donations, Demat, Google Play, Mutual Fund and Insurance.

Can I schedule bill payments in advance?

Yes, you can schedule your bill payment in advance by setting the bill on AutoPay mode. This feature is useful for paying recurring bills on time without worrying about missing the due date. Auto-debit of the bill amount will be carried out 3 days before the bill’s due date.

How do I enable AutoPay for a bill?

You can easily enable AutoPay for a bill through ICICI Bank Internet Banking. You can do it while paying a new bill for the first time and also for an already-registered biller.

To enable AutoPay for a new bill that you are paying for the first time, simply select ‘Yes’ when prompted ‘Do you want to set auto-pay for future payments?’ after the bill details get fetched. AutoPay will be successfully enabled for that biller.

To enable AutoPay for an already-registered biller:

  • Visit the ‘Your Registered Billers’ section on the Bill Payments page

  • Click on the ‘Edit’ icon (depicted by a pencil) beside your biller

  • On the modification page, in the ‘AutoPay Details’ section, select ‘Yes’ from the drop-down of the ‘Auto Pay Required’ menu.

AutoPay will be successfully enabled for the biller.

Where can I check my registered billers?

Log into your Internet Banking account. Click on ‘Pay Bills’ in the ‘Payments & Transfer’ drop-down menu. You will be directed to the Bill Payments page. There, click on ‘Your Registered Billers’ to view your registers and/or pay bills.

When will I know that a bill has been paid successfully?

You will be shown if your bill payment was successful or not on the final screen of the bill payment process. The payment should get reflected at your biller immediately. An SMS alert on successful payment is also sent on your registered mobile number.

How can I get the receipt for the payment I have made?

You will get the receipt at the final stage of the bill payment process, if the payment was successful. The receipt is available in both Excel and PDF formats.

ICICI Bank has paid the bill, but the payment is not visible on the biller page. What does this mean?

The time taken to display the details of paid bills varies from biller to biller. Some billers take up to 3 business days (maximum period) to accept the payment after the transaction is completed from ICICI Bank. Hence, please pay bills at least 3 business days before the payment due date, to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.

Can I get a refund for a bill after successful payment?

No, a refund cannot be availed once bill payment is completed. However, you can call ICICI Bank Customer Care on 1800 1080 in case of any issues.

How do I delete a Registered Biller on Internet Banking?

To delete a registered biller on Internet Banking, please follow the steps below:

  • Log into your Internet Banking account

  • Go to 'Payments & Transfer'

  • Click on 'Manage Billers'

  • Select 'My Registered Billers'

  • Select the biller you want to delete and click on the Delete icon (denoted by a dustbin).

How can I stop my scheduled bill payment?

You can stop a scheduled bill payment which is in ‘Pending’ status by following the steps below:

  • Log into your Internet Banking account

  • Go to 'Payments & Transfer'

  • Click on 'Manage Billers'

  • Select 'My Registered Billers'

  • Click on the ‘Edit’ icon (denoted by a pencil) beside the required bill. You will be directed to the biller modification page

  • On the modification page, under the ‘AutoPay Details’ section, select ‘No’ from the drop-down of ‘Auto Pay Required’ menu

  • Select “Update” to stop scheduled payment.

How do I recharge my FASTag?

Follow these simple steps to recharge your FASTag:

  • Log into your Internet Banking account

  • Under the ‘Payments & Transfer’ drop-down menu, click on ‘Buy/Recharge FASTag’

  • Navigate to the ‘Recharge’ section. You have the option to recharge using Vehicle Number or your CUG wallet

  • To recharge using Vehicle Number, select ‘Vehicle Recharge’, enter the Vehicle Registration Number and the recharge amount. Choose your payment mode and click on ‘Pay now’

  • To recharge your CUG wallet, select ‘CUG Wallet recharge’, enter your Customer ID and the recharge amount. Choose your payment mode and click on ‘Pay now’

  • Review details, enter the OTP and click on ‘Pay’ to complete the payment.

What is Auto-Recharge for ICICI Bank FASTag?

Auto-Recharge is an added feature for ICICI Bank FASTag that allows you to schedule your FASTag recharge. On the scheduled date, the amount you have decided is deducted automatically from the chosen payment method. This reduces the hassle of having to manually recharge FASTag.

Can I check the history of bill payments made till date?

For viewing the list of bill payments made till date, you can go to ‘Recent/Recently Paid’ tab in ‘Pay Bills’ Section.
