Scan to Pay with Pockets App
Now pay at retail stores using your smartphone. The ‘Scan to Pay’ feature on Pockets app lets you use your smartphone to scan a 'Quick Response' (QR) code at the merchant outlet and make the payment. The transaction is completed with enhanced security and the card details remain in control of the customer.
The 'Scan to Pay' feature enables merchants to accept electronic payments without the need for an EDC or a POS machine. Any VISA, Mastercard or Rupay card holder can use this feature by linking their cards to the Pockets app.
To make the payment using 'Scan to Pay':- Login to Pockets app
- Choose 'Scan to Pay' feature on the dashboard
- The app automatically enables the camera in the phone. Scan the QR code displayed at the merchant outlet.
- Select from any of your Visa, MasterCard or Rupay cards for payment
Enter the amount and your debit card PIN to complete the transaction Once the transaction is completed, the merchant receives a notification on his/ her phone.
