Terms and Conditions for ICICI Bank- Mastercard Debit Card Cross Border Offer:
ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION
This Offer is applicable to ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit Cardholders (“Cardholders”) who have received the communication of the Offer from ICICI Bank, by way of a direct mailer/ e-mailer/ SMS/notification or any other mode, as per the discretion of ICICI Bank.
Cardholders must make successful transactions totalling INR 5,000 or more during the Offer Period (“Offer”).
The total spend amount will be calculated excluding refunds, fraudulent or chargeback transactions. ATM transactions, card-to-card transactions, Internet Banking, cash at point of sale machines etc. are not eligible to be considered for this Offer.
Employees of ICICI Bank are not eligible to participate in this Offer.
Participation in this Offer is voluntary.
OFFER PERIOD
The Offer is valid for online transactions made between April 07, 2025, and July 07,2025 (“Offer Period”).
ICICI Bank may extend the Offer Period at its discretion.
REWARD AND WINNER SELECTION
The reward will be in the form of an amazon gift voucher worth INR 500 (“Voucher”), subject to Amazon’s terms and conditions.
Each eligible ICICI Bank Mastercard Debit Card can qualify for a maximum of one Voucher only.
REDEMPTION OF VOUCHER
The Voucher is to be redeemed as per the process described at Woohoo
Notification and winner details will be sent via email or SMS to the latest registered contact details with ICICI Bank within 90 days from the last date of the Offer Period.
The Voucher is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit or any other item in part or in whole.
ICICI Bank, reserves the right to substitute the Voucher with another item of equal value at its sole discretion.
Process of redemption of Voucher is subject to the terms set out by ICICI Bank and/or its merchant partner.
The Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer(s), promotion(s) or discount(s).
DISQUALIFICATION
ICICI Bank reserves the right to disqualify the Cardholders from the Offer and deny the Voucher if they engage in any fraudulent activity for the purpose of availing the benefits under the Offer.
If a Cardholder ceases to be a customer of ICICI Bank at any time during the Offer Period, they will lose eligibility for the Voucher.
LIABILITY
ICICI Bank shall not in any way be deemed to be making any representation whatsoever about the usefulness, worthiness and quality of the Voucher, and shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever for the same. A dispute relating as such shall not constitute a claim against ICICI Bank and Mastercard.
No representation or warranty of any kind is given by Mastercard or ICICI Bank as to the Voucher given under the Offer and liability of any kind whatsoever is excluded to the full extent permissible by applicable law. In the event legislation mandates conditions or warranties which cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified except to a limited extent, then to the extent permitted by law, ICICI Bank’s liability is limited to, at its option to provide replacement of the Voucher.
For all risks associated with the use and redemption of the Voucher, ICICI Bank/ Mastercard and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable to the winners or their companions (if any) under the Offer or any other person for any deficiency, delay, omission or failure related to or connected with the Offer or the Voucher or any component or item thereof.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, no Cardholder shall have any claim whatsoever against any member of ICICI Bank/Mastercard and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents in respect of any action, proceeding, judgment, damage or loss (including, without limitation, incidental, punitive, consequential, special, direct or indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of business opportunity or economic loss), expense, injury (including, without limitation, death or personal injury), damage to property or liability suffered or incurred by the Cardholder (including any companion of the winner) or any other person arising from or in connection with:
such Cardholder’s participation in the Offer ;
collection, receipt, redemption, use or misuse of the Voucher
item thereof by such Cardholder and/or any other person;
Each Cardholder shall indemnify and hold ICICI Bank/Mastercard and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents harmless from and against any and all claims (including, without limitation, claims for negligence), liabilities, suits, damages, judgments, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, attorney’s fees) and all losses and expenses resulting or arising from or connected with any claims or actions by any third parties against Mastercard or any entity therein or their respective directors, officers, employees and agents due to any default, act, omission or negligence of such Participant, including, without limitation, default in complying with these terms and conditions or any violation of any applicable law, rules and regulations by such Participant.
ICICI Bank/Mastercard and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents shall not, to the full extent permissible by applicable law, be liable in any way whatsoever in respect of any of the following: -
lost, late, misdirected, intercepted, undelivered, rejected, blocked or deleted entries, notifications, postings, correspondences or transaction postings;
any Voucher or any component or item thereof that is damaged, defaced, illegible, lost, stolen or otherwise not used;
any delay, loss, damage, or claim arising from participation in the Offer or use of the Voucher.
inaccurate information provided by the Cardholder, howsoever caused;
the suspension, cancellation or termination of the for any reason whatsoever;
virus or other corruption, technical or mechanical error or failure, human error, negligence or unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process, the winners’ selection or determination process, or the operation or administration of the Offer;
technical or mechanical errors related to computers, servers, mobile phones, satellites, telephone lines, network lines or any other equipment;
any action, proceeding, judgment, liability, loss, injury, claim or damage (including, but not limited to, incidental, punitive, consequential, special, direct or indirect damages or losses, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of business opportunity, economic loss), expense, death and personal injury incurred or suffered by any Participant or any other person which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from (i) any participation in the Offer; (ii) the collection, receipt, redemption, use or misuse of Vouchers or any component or item thereof; or (iii) the travel to and from any venues or locations associated with a Voucher or any component or item thereof.
Mastercard and ICICI Bank accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the Voucher or any component or item thereof or the claiming, redemption and use thereof. Any tax, fee, charge or other liabilities payable to the government or any statutory authority or any other body as a result of the participation in the Campaign by a Participant or the collection, redemption, receipt or use of any reward or any component or item thereof, shall be to the sole account of Cardholders. Tax deducted at source, if any, on the monetary value of the Offer shall be payable by Cardholders. It is the responsibility of each winner to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on his/her own financial situation.
MODIFICATIONS AND TERMINATION:
ICICI Bank and Mastercard reserve the right to modify, change all or any of the terms and conditions contained herein and/or discontinue the Offer at their discretion without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation/notice whatsoever.
ICICI Bank and Mastercard will not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss/damage/claim/injury that may arise due to withdrawal or change in the terms and conditions of the Offer or discontinuation of it.
In the event Mastercard and ICICI Bank are prevented from continuing the Offer or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Offer is undermined by any event beyond the control of Mastercard and ICICI Bank, including, but not limited to, fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, infection by computer virus, unauthorized intervention, breakdown in equipment, technical failures or other cause not reasonably within the control of Mastercard, Mastercard and ICICI Bank shall have the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Offer without any further obligation.
DISPUTES
The decision of Mastercard and ICICI Bank regarding the Offer and all matters related to or connected with it, including, without limitation, the interpretation of these terms and conditions, is final and binding and no queries shall be entertained.
The Offer is subject to applicable Indian laws and such other terms and conditions as may be stipulated by ICICI Bank and Mastercard.
The Offer is not available in jurisdictions wherever the same is prohibited and/or cannot be offered or for any reason whatsoever.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai. However, ICICI Bank reserves the right to approach courts in any other competent jurisdiction.
MISCELLANEOUS
By participating in the Offer, Cardholders fully accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If a Cardholder does not agree with any term, they should not participate in the Offer.
These terms and conditions shall be binding on the Cardholders.
