Updating change of Resident Status of Account holder
You currently hold and maintain both a) Resident Account and b) Non-Resident Accounts with ICICI Bank which is contrary to the applicable laws. We are required to designate your Account in accordance with your current residential status.
An Account holder is required to update the change of residential status in his Account within a period of 30 days from the date of change of the residential status. We therefore, request you to confirm your residential status using This Link as per the deadline mentioned in SMS/Email communication. Basis your confirmation, the Bank shall re-designate your Account. [Note: Any Demat Account(s) linked to your Resident Accounts / Non-Resident Accounts, will be automatically delinked during re-designation basis your residential status. A separate request is to be placed for re-linking of Demat Account(s).]
In case you fail or delay in updating the change of residential status , the Bank reserves the right to take appropriate action including closure or freezing of the Accounts.
