What is an ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card?
The ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card is an EMV chip-based reloadable prepaid card, which is loaded in Indian rupees. Corporates can load the same card multiple times to transfer benefits to the end user.
Where can I use the ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card?
The ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card can be used at any merchant establishment that accepts Visa cards. However, if the Merchant Category Code (MCC) based restrictions are put on the card as per the corporate’s requirements, then the card will be accepted only at select merchant establishments that fall in the desired merchant category.
What is the validity of the ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card?
The card is valid for a period of 5 years from the date of card issuance. Â
What happens to the available balance on the Card after it expires?
You can place a request for a replacement card with our Customer Care. The new card will be issued to you and the available balance will be transferred to the new card within 11 working days. Replacement charges of Rs 199 + applicable GST will be levied on the new card.
Are there any charges for using the ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card?
There are no charges levied on the Card at any merchant establishment or at any ICICI Bank ATM for balance inquiry. However, any surcharge applicable on card usage will also be applicable on the ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card and the same is non-refundable.

Can I add funds to the ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card?
Funds can be added to your ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card only by the corporate.There is no restriction on the number of reloads on the card.
Where can I check the transaction details and the remaining balance on the card?
You can check the balance on your card through any of the following:
- By calling our Customer Care on 1800 1080
- At any Visa-enabled ATM in India
- Through the Self Care portal
- Through the Pockets app.
Do I need to maintain a minimum balance on the card?
There is no need to maintain a minimum balance on the card.
What should I do if my ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card is lost or stolen?
If the card is lost or stolen, please call our Customer Care to block it. The Customer Care Executive will block your card post verification. Additionally, you can place a request for a replacement card.
Can I use an ATM to check the remaining balance on my ICICI Bank Semi-Closed Card?
Yes, you can check the remaining balance on your card at an ATM (charges applicable). However, cash withdrawal is not permitted.
