Instant online bill payment of Delhi Electricity with ICICI Bank

New Delhi is the nation’s capital and to provide for its power requirements, the Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi has established three different Distribution Companies (discoms) to provide seamless power distribution and online bill payment services.

Steps to pay electricity bills online

  • 01. Go to the ‘Bill Pay, Recharge & FASTag’ section,Select the ‘Electricity’ category
  • 02. Search and select your relevant electricity biller from the list, e.g. BSES Rajdhani, BSES Yamuna, Tata Power-Delhi etc.
  • 03. Enter the consumer details to fetch the bill for payment, as per the input required by the respective biller
  • 04. The details of the bill will appear on the screen. Here, you can set up the AutoPay facility to pay bills of subsequent months automatically
  • 05. Select the preferred mode of payment such as Savings Account, Credit Card or PayLater. Click on ‘Pay Bill’ to complete the payment
  • 06. A success message will appear on your screen. Here, you can view the details and download the payment receipt.

  • The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) also plays a key role in providing electricity to certain parts of Delhi, specifically in the New Delhi area, which includes central administrative and government regions.

How can I check my due electricity bills and pay them through ICICI Bank?

Log into your ICICI Bank Internet Banking Account or the iMobile app.  Under the ‘Bill Payment and Recharge’ section, you can check your recent bills and bills due for payment. After checking the amount, you can pay your bills using your Savings Account, ICICI Credit Card or PayLater.
