The National Pension System (NPS) is a retirement planning scheme that helps account holders save money for retirement. The subscribers regularly contribute to their accounts to build a corpus and grow wealth with compounding interest. Since it is a long term savings plan, monitoring the account and ensuring transactions is crucial. The NPS transaction statement contains information about different transactions executed in your NPS account.

NPS Transaction Statement Essential Information

The NPS transaction statement is a document that contains the records of various transactions or investments taking place in your NPS account. You can find crucial information about your account in the document including your investments, redemption details, account management and investment summary. The statement serves as proof for claiming tax benefits under the NPS.

Primarily, there are three types of NPS account statements:

  1. Transaction statements
  2. Holding statements
  3. Voluntary contribution statements

Benefits of Downloading NPS Transaction Statement:

  • Comprehensive Subscriber Overview: Access personal, contact, nominee, and nodal office details, plus clear account status to take timely action.
  • Detailed Investment Summary: Get real-time insight into your total contributions, accumulated pension wealth, and returns, giving you a transparent view of your investment performance.
  • Precise Fund Allocation Insights: Understand your pension fund's diversification with allocation percentages across Pension Fund Managers (PFMs) for smarter decision-making.
  • In-depth Breakdown of Contributions: Track individual contributions, units, XIRR, and NAV returns across different PFMs to optimize your investment strategy.
  • Clear Employer vs. Employee Contributions: Easily differentiate between contributions, helping you track personal and corporate inputs.
  • Complete Transaction Breakdown: Get a full view of your PFM-wise NAV, allocated units, and contributions, offering better control over your portfolio.
  • Proof for NPS Tax Benefits: Use the statement as verified proof to claim corporate NPS tax benefits.
  • Simplified Terminology: The integrated glossary helps decode complex NPS terms, making your financial management more accessible.
