In continuation to make your experience with ICICI Bank Credit Cards even more convenient and secure, we bring you the registration process of 2nd factor authentication to make purchases through IVR/Online/Mobile banking.
2nd factor authentication is a safety requirement for any purchases made through IVR/Online/Mobile Banking using your MasterCard/Visa/American Express Credit Card issued by ICICI Bank as per RBI guidelines for transactions made at merchants registered in India.

At ICICI Bank, for online/e-commerce transactions the 2nd factor authentication is termed as 3D Secure PIN (3DS) and for IVR/Mobile Banking transactions is IVR OTP (IOTP). Each Credit Card has a unique 3D Secure PIN.
To register your ICICI Bank Credit Card for 3DS and IOTP, it is necessary to have your updated mobile number/ e-mail ID with us. Please click here to know more on the process to update your contact details.

Online transactions – You can register your Credit Card to generate 3D Secure PIN by following simple steps. During the registration process a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent on your registered mobile number/ e-mail ID.
For Visa/MasterCard
Visit www.3dsecure.icicibank.com >> Select “Register now” >> Enter Credit Card details >> Enter OTP >> Generate Personal Assurance Message (PAM) and 3D Secure PIN of your choice.  
For ICICI Bank American Express Card
Visit www.icicibank.com/safekey >> Select “Register now” >> Enter Credit Card details >> Enter OTP >> Generate Personal Assurance Message (PAM) and 3D Secure PIN of your choice.  
You can also register your Credit Card during online shopping i.e Activation During Shopping (ADS).
Please note
  • 3D Secure online PIN is a 6 digit numeric permanent PIN.
  • You can place a request to change your 3D Secure PIN after logging into your 3D Secure account.
  • PAM cannot be generated at the time of shopping (ADS).
IVR/Mobile Banking transactions- You can register your Credit Card for IVR/ Mobile Banking transactions by generating an IVR One Time Password (IOTP) through any of the options listed below.
Online
Visit www.3dsecure.icicibank.com >> Select “Generate IOTP for IVR” >> Enter Credit Card details.
SMS
Type IOTP <Space> Last four digit of your 16-digit ICICI Bank Credit Card number send to 5676766 from your mobile number registered with us.
Phone Banking
Call our 24-hour Customer Care >> Authenticate your Credit Card and ATM PIN>> Select "1" for Self Banking>> Select "4" to generate IVR OTP.
Please note
  • For every IVR transaction, you need to generate a new IOTP.
  • IOTP will be sent to your registered mobile number/ e-mail ID registered with us.
  • IOTP will be valid for 24 hours or a single transaction, whichever is earlier.
