1. How do I get started with Money Manager?
First, access Money Manager from the ICICI Bank Net Banking website.
Why does Money Manager need to connect to bank systems?
Money Manager gathers together transactions from your accounts so that you can manage your money from one place. The first time you access Money Manager, we’ll automatically walk you through the process of adding your bank accounts.In the future, if you have new accounts to add, just go to the Accounts page and click
Add Account to start adding a new account.
Then what can I do?
Then, here are some ideas about what you can do with Money Manager:

See what's left until your next salary. We tried to detect the account where you deposit your salary and we estimated your upcoming bills. But you probably have some corrections to make:
- Train us to categorise you way. Choose a category for each transaction we missed, and fix any mistakes we made. We'll apply what we learned to future transactions. How do my transactions get categorised?
- Examine your spending against your income. Click the Trends tab and look at your spending from different angles. How can I tell if I'm living within my means?
- Set up budget goals. Click the Goals tab and set goals for the categories you want to watch. How do I set up my goals and budget?

2. What types of accounts can I add?
These are the account types you can add:
- Saving Deposit - This is an account where you can hold money.
- Fixed Deposits - This is an account where you hold money for a particular term. It could be either a fixed deposit or a recurring deposit.
- Credit Card - An account with a credit limit which if utilized becomes due to the bank.
Can I change an account's type?
While you're in the process of adding an account, you can change its type only if we didn't automatically detect the type.
After you've added an account, you can easily change its type:
- Click the Accounts tab.
- Make any changes you like in the Type column.
What happens after I change the type?
Since the Accounts list subtotals your accounts by type, changing the type of an account could change your subtotals.

3. How do I add accounts?
To add bank accounts
- Click the Accounts tab.
- In the My accounts list, click Add Account.
- Click ICICI Bank.
- Under Select, select the checkboxes for the accounts you want to add to Money Manager.
- Under Account Type, click the account type for each account that you want to add to Money Manager, and then click Continue.

Money Manager adds your bank account(s). The account appears in the My accounts list on the Accounts page, and in the Accounts list in the left navigation bar of the Home page.

4. How do I update and get my latest transactions?
Updating transactions
You shouldn't have to refresh an account yourself. Every night, we get an update of the transactions made on your account. But occasionally, an account won't update for a variety of reasons.
- From the Accounts list, look for any yellow triangles.Yellow triangles mean that this account hasn't been refreshed in the last 24 hours.
- Click the account.
- First, try clicking Refresh to see if that works.
- After that, if you see a message next to this icon:
Then click the message.
- Follow the steps in the page that opens. It contains valuable instructions that pertain to your situation and will help us resolve the problem.
How can I see if there are any newer transactions?
We typically get transactions made available the night before. Sometimes newer transactions may be made available later in the day. To see if there are any late-breaking transactions from an account, you can click Refresh on the Transactions page for that account.
Can I get transactions older than 90 days?
It depends on whether older transactions are available. Here's how to give it a try:
- Click the Settings link at the top of any Money Manager window.
- Next to Find Missing Transactions, click Start.
- Choose the account you want along with start and end dates. You can try to get any 90-day span of transactions.
You can also use this feature to try to get more recent transactions in the rare event that they are missing. Just use it for each 90-day range of dates you want.

5. How do I set up reminders and alerts to go to my mobile phone or email?
You can get reminders of upcoming transactions so you won't forget them. We'll only send reminders for upcoming transactions that have the "Remind?" box checked on an account's Transactions page.

We'll post all reminders (from all your accounts) to your Home page. You can also set them up to be sent to your mobile phone, or to your email.
You can also set yourself up to get a daily or weekly summary of your financial transactions, alerts about what's left, your balances or transaction amounts, or your approaching goals limits.
- Click on the Settings link on the top right of any page in Money Manager.
- Click the Alerts & Notifications tab. Make selections on the page to choose the types or reports and alerts you'd like to get. Then click SAVE.
Depending on your selections, you should start getting alerts & notifications the next day.

6. How do I customise the Home page?

How do I change my Home page account?
You can show any savings account on your Home page.
To change the account type that is displayed on the Home page.
Note: If you have not added the account yet to Money Manger, go to the Accounts page and Click Add Account.
- Click the Settings link at the top-right of any page.
- In the Home Page Display section, click the Edit button.
- Make a new choice under Select the account where you deposit your salary.
- Click SAVE.
- Go back to the Home page.

If there is no upcoming transaction in this account categorised as Salary, we'll just show how much you can spend for two weeks from today.In that case, you'll see an ADD Salary button, but the amount you can spend will be calculated as usual.
How to configure Money Manager to display a savings account on the Home page
You can get a snapshot of your financial position right on the Home Page. On the Accounts page, you can select the account that you want to view on your Home page. The Home page displays the following:
- Latest balance of your savings account
- Sum of transactions that are yet to be cleared
- Sum of upcoming transactions
- Your balance after considering the upcoming transactions
To configure Money Manager to display your savings account on the Home page
- Click the Accounts tab.
- In the My accounts list, click the appropriate account name.
- Click the Show on Home Page button.
Note: The Home page displays only one savings account.
