Terms and Conditions
a) If the deposit is renewed without any change in the existing mode of operation, the respective account-opening form will be treated as valid and continuing.
b) The proceeds of the Advantage Deposit will be paid on the due date or on request, before the due date (subject to the penal clause for premature payment as per RBI guidelines) through the Bank's existing mode of payment.
c) At the discretion of the Bank, loan against the Deposit maybe given to the depositor who is authorized to withdraw the deposit as per the original mandate.
d) The mobile number and e-mail address given on the Fixed Deposit slip will be updated to the depositor’s Customer ID.
e) The units of the Mutual Fund scheme shall be allotted at the net asset value (NAV) prevalent on the date the application form is sent by ICICI Bank to the Registrar of the Mutual Fund and not on the date of receipt of the application form by ICICI Bank. The application form will be sent by ICICI Bank to the Registrar only after opening of the depositor’s Savings Account and Fixed Deposit. The applicability of NAV for allotment of units will be according to the terms of the Scheme and/or the Offer Document of the Mutual Fund. ICICI Bank shall not be liable for any loss that may arise to the depositor as a result of incorrect NAV applied on units allotted by the Mutual Fund to the depositor.
f) Instructions for redemption of the Mutual Fund units will have to be submitted to the Mutual Fund / Registrar.
g) In the event of premature/partial closure of the fixed deposit, the SIP will continue to be debited to the depositor’s savings account, unless the depositor informs the Mutual Fund / Registrar of withdrawal of the original mandate.
h) If the interest earned is less than the SIP amount, either due to TDS or change in interest on renewal, the depositor will make up the shortfall in the Savings Account to which the SIP amount is debited.
